Trying New Things

Trying New Things

Last week was Mother’s Day.  I am not a mother, and Pedro certainly isn’t a mother, but we decided to go out to eat anyways. What we found, of course, were over-crowded restaurants.

We were hungry, so we decided to go into Downtown Hollywood. I don’t think Pedro had a specific idea of where he wanted to eat, but I knew he was getting hungry. We parked the Jeep on a side street, and started walking. What we found were lots of little eateries. To be honest with you, neither one of us knew they existed.

We decided to go to a Moroccan restaurant, Shabos. It only had about 10 tables total, and it had a real down home feel about it. We were seated in an over sized booth that had pillows, and were made to feel comfortable by our waitress. Pedro was in the mood for meat, and as you can see (picture to follow shortly), he got MEAT! It was absolutely delicious, and we will certainly go back to this restaurant, but I digress….

Sometimes in life, you have to take a chance at something you are uncertain of. Whether it is a new restaurant, a new fitness class, a new haircut, etc., sometimes it really pays off.

What have we been up to? We are trying new things and finding they make our lives seem new again. It is refreshing, and I recommend you try it as well.

Take a chance!

With a New Risky (but not TOO risky) Outlook,
